Beschreibung

The General Data Protection Regulation contains provisions on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data. It aims to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of natural persons - in particular their right to the protection of their own personal data.

However, many people tend to view data protection as a hindrance, especially in a professional environment. Data protection is often only associated with restrictions and prohibitions. And that is a real shame, because it serves to protect the personal data of all of us.

With the "GDPRism" project, we want to support organisations and employees in adult education as well as all interested parties in the data protection-compliant planning and implementation of projects. In a free online course, we offer an overview of the regulations of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and transfer what we have learnt to individual topics from everyday professional life, such as saving addresses and participant lists or the use of video conferencing. The project is supplemented by a toolbox with checklists and templates on the most important topics.

In this webinar, we want to give you a brief insight into the project. We will present the structure and content of the free online course and show you how to register and find your way around the online platform so that you are able to work through the relevant content on your own.

There will also be space for specific questions.
