Moderator 2 of the webinar: Dr Meike Wiedemann

Dr Meike Wiedemann

Meike Wiedemann is a neurobiologist and alternative practitioner. At the University of Hohenheim, she gained experience in research and teaching in an electrophysiological laboratory in the field of neurophysiology for more than 15 years. In projects with different European space agencies (ESA, DLR, CNES) she has studied the brain under different gravitational conditions. She made her first point of contact with neurofeedback in 1995 as part of her university work. Fascinated by the effects, she completed a training as a alternative practitioner to be able to work with neurofeedback. Since 2002 Meike Wiedemann enthusiastically runs one of the first neurofeedback practices in Stuttgart. Since 2009 she has been teaching neurofeedback for EEG Info Europe and is head of the training & teaching department of BEE Medic GmbH. She is the author and co-author of several articles and books on neurofeedback, including the standard reading "Praxisbuch Biofeedback und Neurofeedback" published by Springer Medizin Verlag and "Neurofeedback: Wie eine spielerisch leichte Therapie dem Gehirn hilft, über überwinden Probleme", published by Kösel Verlag.

Moderator 3 of the webinar: Dr Dawn Harris

Dr Dawn Harris

Dr. Dawn Harris is a Consultant Forensic and Clinical Psychologist, an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, and an Accredited Psychotherapist. She has worked in both the public and private sectors for over 20 years where she gained extensive experience of working with people who have experienced trauma. She previously owned and worked as a clinical lead in a private psychiatric hospital that specialised in working with people with a history of complex trauma, and has designed trauma informed rehabilitative interventions for forensic settings.

She developed and delivers BPS (British Psychological Society) accredited training to organisations with the aim of creating trauma informed and responsive cultures. Dawn is trained in a variety of psychotherapies and is a trainer in CRM (comprehensive resource model).

She started working with neurofeedback in 2019 and has found it to be an incredibly important addition to her practice. She currently has her own practice where she specialises in working with people who have experienced trauma, including those with complex presentations and dissociative disorders.
