The International and Specialized Placement (ZAV) is responsible for international services within the Federal Employment Agency (BA). It works with many high-ranking domestic and international cooperation partners and labor market services. The focus is on the immigration of skilled workers from abroad and the placement of special professional groups.
The Virtual Welcome Center (VWC) of the ZAV is the central point of contact for all questions about working and living in Germany. With its information and advisory services, the VWC supports foreign employees - both before and after entry - to quickly find their way around Germany and to feel welcome.
At this WebTutorial, we focus on the job market in the IT sector.
The first part of the tutorial is about “Working and Living in Germany”. The content includes the German job market, skills shortage, visa, recognition, social security system, application and job search, including the presentation of our services.
In the second part of the tutorial, the need for skilled workers in the IT sector in Germany will be highlighted, the key professions in demand will be presented and the opportunities on the job market will be discussed.
Questions can be asked after each lecture, as well as during the lecture via the chat function.
